Hi,

There are 2 formats which can be used to store your audio.
Uncompressed PCM or compressed MP2. You can set the format for the
library in rdadmin -> Manage Hosts --> Library. Rivendell can play back
either.

When considering sound quality, uncompressed audio is going to give you
the best audio quality. However for those who have limited hard disk
space, MP2 is an option.

My own recommendation is that since hard disk space is cheap these days,
you're better off with the uncompressed audio option. However if you're
short on hard disk space you may want to select MP2. You know your
situation better then anyone else.
