[RDD] Rivendell in a VM (not for broadcast)

Hi again Fred,

First of all apologies for being a continued nuisance. I didn't have much
luck with the steps given as all the values were defaults. The good news
is its working now but I had to delete the host from within rdadmin and
recreate it. After looking into the ripcd daemon, I decided to restart
the rivendell daemons for reasons that my brain won't divulge.

Anyway, I got a few errors along the lines of:

Starting Rivendell daemons: caedQSqlQuery::value: not positioned on a
valid record
QSqlQuery::value: not positioned on a valid record
ripcdQSqlQuery::value: not positioned on a valid record
  rdcatchd.

After recreating the host I can select a sound card again. I've no idea
if this is a permanent fix or not but its good enough for me so thanks
again for the help along the way.
